All ordering is placed through our website’s secure shopping cart.  The payments we accept are Visa, MasterCard and Paypal.   If paying by Paypal, your PayPal account must have a verified status.  The Paypal account must also have a PayPal confirmed shipping address.  If your shipping address is not confirmed with PayPal your order will not process and you will receive a notice by Paypal when attempting to complete your order.

We accept secure online payments from Mastercard, Visa and Paypal.

Sales Tax

We are located in California and by state law we are required to collect sales tax to any order shipping within California.  Orders placed outside of California will not have sales tax collected.

Shipping Information

Excellaptopparts.com uses the US Postal Service as our main shipping method.  We ship exclusively within the United Sates and do not support international sales at this time.

We use a flat rate shipping system for shipping costs.  Adding more items to the order will marginally increase the cost of shipping of $1 per additional item.  Some items, and those are mentioned on the part’s information page, will ship from the manufacturer directly to the customer.  These we do not control the shipping time or carrier and often increases the time it takes to receive the item.


All the laptop parts we sell carry a warranty against defects.   You are welcome to return any part within thirty (30) days of the date the part is first received.  Any returned part must be in the same new condition as sold and show no signs of installation. The part will be subject to a 20% restocking fee (shipping is not refunded).  The laptop part being returned must be received by us no later than thirty (30) days from the date the order was delivered by the shipping carrier to qualify for the return.  Once received, we will determine the part is ours and is in the condition previously described.  Before returning a part be sure to fill out a RMA Request explaining the reason for your return.  Please allow sufficient time to process your refund which is usually 7 to 10 business days.  Your bank may require additional time to process the refund.  We can only issue a credit to the original payment method used in making the purchase.

There is a one (1) year warranty on all parts we sell through our website.   We guarantee all laptop parts against defects for one (1) year from the date of the purchase.  If a part fails within this one (1) year period we will replace the part at our expense (customer responsible for shipping product to us) for exchange only for the same part.  Any laptop part returned to us for exchange will be subject to testing to verify the defective claim.   Please fill out a RMA Request to exchange a product under warranty.

  • What is covered under warranty?     Any laptop part that is defective under normal wear. ie: wear on a palmrest, scuff marks or light scratches, stains, keyboard wear, etc.  These would not void the warranty on the defective part.  Other examples covered under warranty include electronic failure or function failure.
  • What is not covered under warranty?     Failure or damage resulting from misuse, accidents, physical damage (ie: broken plastic, deep scratches, broken keys, broken ports, etc), modification, natural disasters, damage to fan blades as a result of maintenance or other improper maintenance, power surges.

Cancellation Or Changes To An Order

We process orders shortly after they arrive. If you need to cancel an order or modify information on an order please contact us as soon as possible requesting the change.  We will not be able to cancel an order once our bank settles the payment.  Other changes such as an email or phone number can still be modified after an order has shipped.  You can do this by logging into your account to make the change or you can contact us request the change by made by our Accounting Dept.

Part Conditions

New parts refer to parts purchased directly from the manufacturer or distributor and have never used.
New Pull refer to items removed from new laptops. These are expected to be in like new condition.
Pull items refers to used merchandise.  Some may have scratches, worn pieces, or just normal use; some in perfect “like new” condition. All are guaranteed to work and have been cleaned and tested prior to packaging.
